2. Job description:
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Operational:
- Ensures the highest possible standard of hygiene, cleanliness and orderliness of the swimming pool, wet facilities, and indoor changing area.
- Controls all pool linen according to the department operation procedures.
- Maintains close scrutiny and stock check of all cleaning materials and to advise the Assistant Manager when stock needs reordering.
- Reports any maintenance/repairs needed or any defects in equipment or fixtures.
- Ensure that all customers’ needs with regards to cleanliness and hygiene are attended to promptly and efficiently by having a continual surveillance of the swimming pool.
- Assists with removal or installation of equipment and furniture.
- Sets up and dismantles equipment in areas for special activities and events.
Personnel:
- Supports the implementing, demonstrating and reinforcing New World’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
Other Duties:
- Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the Hotel’s policies concerning fire, hygiene and health and safety.
- Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Responds to any changes in the Spa function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
- Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
3. Request
- Provide good service with polite attitude.
- Ability to handle guest inquiry.
- Established good relationship with guest.
- Technical skills: Have Gym/ Fitness/ Lifeguard License provided by local authority.
- Language skills: Be able to understand, listening and speaking English.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in different shifts when required.
- Qualifications: High School degree or above
- Experience: 1 years Recreation Attendant experiences. Already work in 5-star hotel environment preferred.
